At the heart of this model is the Fender-designed Alnico single coil , which transports the iconic Vintage-Sound with crystal-clear highs and present mids. Under the hood, the electric guitar comes with a poplar body , which is complemented by a bolt-on maple neck . The "C" neck profile in combination with the 9.5" fingerboard radius provides excellent playability for modern guitarists. The Laurel fingerboard is equipped with 21 frets , just like the original from the 1960s, guaranteeing an authentic vintage feel. With the classic 3-saddle Vintage-Style string-through-body Tele bridge , string changes are uncomplicated, while the intonation and string action remain stable. The vintage-style tuners also ensure rock-solid tuning and complete the original design of the legendary original!
