Product Alternatives for Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster
Finish is excellent. Playability of the guitar is great. No fret buzz at comfortable action, it stays in tune no matter how you play it, even with heavy tremolo use or lot of bending. The neck is just a little bit wider than on a regular Jazzmaster. Pickups are not Jazzmaster pickups - they are actually P90 in JM dimensions, and dont sound clear and bell-like as a real JM pickup. However they sound nice and full and handle distortion very well. J Mascis fans should have no problems with them, surfers should look somewhere else.
Ablosutely no problems with the guitar from the box, changed strings and adjusted neck and bridge, now it ideal. Sounds nice, perfect for surf/shoegaze/noise/garage types of music
