Modernized offset guitar for rock and metal.
The Squier Contemporary Active Jazzmaster HH Sunset Metallic combines the classic end '50s Offset-Design with active pickups and premium hardware appointments to create a contemporary rock and metal guitar whose high playability and brute sounds set the standard. While the C-shaped maple neck promises agile playing characteristics for fast riffing and virtuoso solos, Squier SQR Active Ceramic humbuckers elicit the guitar amp.
Modernized offset design
The Contemporary Active Jazzmaster HH design is clearly inspired by the time-honored offset style from the end of the Fifties, but expands it with modern detail solutions. The classically designed poplar body has a rounded neck foot, which significantly facilitates access to high positions of the bolt-on neck made of particularly stable, roasted maple. The slim C-neck profile and the 12" radius (305 mm) of the Indian Laurel fingerboard also create the best conditions for buttery-smooth playability.
Active Ceramic Humbuckers
For adequate tone conversion, Squier equips the Active Jazzmaster HH with two active SQR Active Ceramic Humbuckers. With a high Output, the powerful pickups really make the guitar amp sweat and elicit juicy distortion sounds with precise representation of every note. But also in the clean channel, the pickup can score with their particularly transparent sound. To adjust the tone, the electric guitar also has a classic 3-way switch with master volume and master tone.
2-Point Tremolo and Die-Cast tuners.
Last but not least, Squier equips the Contemporary Active Jazzmaster HH Sunset Metallic with high-quality Hardware, whose modern functionality is perfectly matched to the electric guitar. A contemporary 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo is used as the bridge, which impresses with smooth handling. With six block string riders, the tremolo system also allows optimal adjustment of intonation and string action. Behind the graphite nut, Squier split-shaft tuners on the headstock ensure precise and robust tuning, even with frequent use of the tremolo lever.

Squier Contemporary Active Jazzmaster HH Sunset Metallic
it's an excellent guitar if you want to get something really decent without breaking the bank. you don't get the quality loss of a really cheap guitar while loosing upwards of a grand on a full fender

During difficult times, communication has been excellent in both buying the guitar and receiving it in less than a week. The quality of the guitar has a sound that resonates and brings a sense of emotive attachment from the first chord played. A great buy for a serious musician.
