The Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass (Daphne Blue) comes in the style of the original J-Bass, including comfortable playing characteristics and the well-known versatile sounds. Fender initially relies on a lightweight Poplar body in the typical off-set design and a bolt-on Maple neck, whose narrow "C" profile with a 38mm nut width is particularly comfortable in the hand. 2x Fender designed Alnico Single Coil pick-ups and the classic passive circuit with 2x volume knobs and the high-end panel promise versatile Bass sounds for almost any genre. In terms of hardware, the Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass offers a 4-Saddle bridge with steel saddles and vintage-style tuners.

Label snobs who turn their noses up at the Squier range, insisting on having the Fender name on the headstock are missing out on a lot. This bass is easily as good as any Fender I’ve owned & better than some. It’s a really versatile bass sound-wise, a comfortable weight & looks great.
The only disappointing thing on my model was that one of the machine heads was bent on receipt. As the bass was very well packed, I believe this had happened prior to despatch & it may be that the seller needs to improve their product inspection procedure.
