Squier Affinity Tele Blond - great sound and amazing value!
Guitar was setup very well. Intonation spot-on. Low action, frets levelled and a very comfortable neck - easy to play out of the box. Great tone from bridge and neck pickups. Overall quality very impressive for a guitar at this low price point. Would make an ideal first guitar or as a basis for making upgrades.

When you see this guitar in person, you can't believe the quality and how it feels in your hands. The sound as well is great. I would give to this guitar the "best value for money" prize!
It’s been a while since I bought a squier. 24 years in fact. And boy have they used that time well. Picking up the guitar it has a build quality that surpasses its price point. A great finish over a nice looking body. Beautiful light maple neck and fretboard. And solid feeing hardware. The only criticism is expected and that’s a little roughness on the fret ends that you can’t see with the naked eye. And can be fixed easily with a sanding block.
Acoustically it gives off more volume than my squier strat. Up and down the neck you can feel where the frets need to be played in built there isn’t a trace of buzz. Plugged in through my Marshall it sounds like a traditional tele. The brightness and twang when clean but happy to have a bit of a growl when the gain is nudged in the right direction.
I bought this purely to give me something to look forward to during Covid lockdown. But I love it already. Looking forward to getting to know it better and finding out what it can do.
