The Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster HSS RW Slick Silver is one of the best value electric guitars on the market today. This Squier Affinity Strat produces a solid with a smooth comfortable playing style. A combination of classic Strat features helps this guitar deliver the authentic sound of Fender in an incredibly affordable package with an attractive finish and single-ply “platinum sparkle” pickguard. This sound is powered by two single-coil Stratocaster pickups and one humbucking bridge pickup that creates a fat, warm tone with plenty of balance, which can be customised by five-way switching and two tone knobs.
Playability is sufficiently enhanced on these models thanks to a “C”-shaped neck profile that is comfortable and provides the player with a vintage playing feel for any style. This neck is connected to a slender rosewood fingerboard adorned with 21 medium jumbo frets and pearloid dot position inlays. A large headstock is adorned with an elegant gold and black two-colour logo, whilst stylish chrome hardware resists corrosion and wear. Lastly, tuning and intonation is stabilised due to the inclusion of a six-saddle vintage-style synchronised tremolo bridge

i just love the feel of this guitar. I would have given it a full 5 stars but the frets had some sharp edges but was easily fixed. Pickups sound amazing though both the humbucker and single coil sound spot on. And the colour wow looks very cool indeed. The guitar is fairly light compared to my epiphone les paul. Extremely happy with my purchase and DV247 are first class all the way. Dont be put off by the Affinity series they are very well made and stand up well to the Fender series.

Bought this Squire HSS Strat to practice on so I don't overly use my American one (which gets used for gigs) and for the money it plays and sounds really well. Got to also say it was very well packaged and arrived with a 1hr delivery window which is always good. An all round good buying experience.

The squier series is top notch for a cheaper version of the fender its self the sound is incredible and very well made. The strings feel very light and easy to play. as for the body it's study and just the right weight and very flashy. All in all I'm very happy with this.
