Squier Affinity Series Jazzmaster LRL Burgundy Mist

The Squier Affinity Series Jazzmaster LRL Burgundy Mist represents the trendy offset model in the Affinity Series and represents the sound, look and charm of the 1958 classic. With its two specially designed single coil pickups, it provides the perfect foundation for cultivated grunge and alternative sounds, while the modern 2-point tremolo is a welcome upgrade.

Ceramic single coils with extra-wide winding

The secret behind the distinctive sound of the Jazzmaster is found in the construction of its two exclusively for the JM developed Ceramic Single Coil pickups, which produce with a particularly wide coil winding the distinctive warm and bell-like sound. The circuit of the Affinity Series Jazzmaster was implemented here with a Master Volume and Master Tone control, which makes the sound design with the model particularly straightforward and intuitive.

Modern 2-Point Tremolo

Unlike the Jazzmaster's classic tremolo system, which often resulted in unwanted noise and provided little modulation range, the Squier Affinity Series Jazzmaster uses a modern vintage-style 2-point tremolo. Thanks to its dual suspension on two solid pins and six block single riders for each string, the tremolo allows for far more pitch modulation options and clean intonation for each individual string.
