Four string electric bass with Indian Laurel fingerboard and two single coil pickups
With the Squier Affinity Series Jazz Bass IL Imperial Blue the subsidiary of Fender presents a detailed interpretation of the American bass legend for the small purse. The 4-string electric bass convinces with its traditional wood selection, which relies on a poplar body and a bolted maple neck with Indian-Laurel fingerboard, while two single-coil pickups and passive electronics give the flawlessly crafted instrument a variable sound. The Squier Affinity Jazz Bass is complemented by traditional hardware in the form of the 4-saddle standard bridge and precise vintage-style tuners.
The Squier Affinity Series Jazz Bass IL Imperial Blue convinces with optimal playing comfort and versatile sounds.
Traditional built Jazz Bass
The construction of the Squier Affinity Jazz Bass follows the traditional guidelines that have remained unchanged since 1960. The body is made of solid poplar, while the classic bolted neck is made of maple and carries an Indian Laurel fingerboard. Accordingly, the electric bass has a powerful basic sound with tonal balance and crisp response that promises versatility. The classic "C" profile of the neck in combination with the typical, narrow fingerboard, which measures just 38 mm on the saddle, also makes playing bass particularly pleasant for beginners.
Versatile bass sound from two single coil pickups
The Squier Affinity J-Bass uses two in-house Squier Standard single coils as pick-ups, with which the four-string amplifier delivers a variable sound pattern and can therefore be used in any musical genre. No matter whether it is a cutting presence tone with enormous assertiveness, a fat reggae beat with punchy bass accentuation or a growling rock sound with a deep mid-range thrust, the passive electronics with individual volume controls for each pickup and a harmonically working treble stop will find the right bass sound in no time at all.
Vintage style hardware
High-quality vintage-style hardware with uncompromising functionality rounds off the Squier Affinity Jazz Bass equipment. The strings are held in place by the proven Squier 4-Saddle Standard bass bridge with individually adjustable string riders for perfect intonation and string position. On the headstock, the strings also run over a synthetic bone saddle, before they find their way to the open vintage-style tuners, which ensure precise and stable bass tuning.

Well, Fender is good at making pretty much every instrument there is, such as this bass. I got this one as a present and I thought this was going to be just like my old ones, but I was wrong. This bass had an amazing sound and thought this had cost a lot, but it didnt! I was amazed with this bass quality/price.
