Since 2002 the Jarman brothers Gary, Ryan and Ross fill the halls as "The Cribs" and bring the masses to the boil with their classic British-style indie rock. Bassist Gary has relied on Precision basses from Fender since the beginning of his band career, whose growling sound lays the foundation for every Cribs song. In close cooperation with the Fender subsidiary Squier, Gary developed a bass that merges the classic Fender sound with his personal design ideas.
The body of the Squier Gary Jarman Bass has a much slimmer line than the jazz and precision classics, which makes it snuggle comfortably to the body and relieves the player with its lower weight. The neck with its traditional C-profile offers a comfortable basis for supporting rock grooves, while the 32" short-scale scale guarantees a butter-soft playability.
The vintage-style split-coil pickup, positioned in the sweet spot of the string swingun, delivers the growling rock sound with its passive electronics, which has provided comfortable pressure in the stomach area since the 1950s. Thanks to the heavy high-mass bridge, the Squier Gary Jarman Bass also has a crisp response and singing sustain.
