Authentic Tele sounds thanks to Fender Designed Alnico Single Coils
For the unmistakable twang of the Telecaster, two Fender Designed Alnico Single Coils are used in the neck and bridge position of the Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster Vintage Edition MN Satin Vintage Blonde. With their Alnico V magnets, they follow the traditional construction of classic Vintage pickups. Matching playability with unmistakable Fender feel, on the other hand, is conjured up by the maple neck with slim C-profile and 21-fret fretting in narrow-tall format. Completing the Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster Vintage Edition MN Satin Vintage Blonde is a 3-saddle Tele bridge with string routing through the body, six vintage-style tun ers and its sleek Satin Vintage Blonde body finish.
Guitar looks very good, satin finish on the body is sleek and neck tint is very authentic. Compared to Classic Vibe series, it is better and have much less 'plastic' feel. Factory setup is Ok and playable. Guitar sounds very good, more 'woody' like on expensive thin finished Strats. Electronic works ok, aluminium pick guard is excellent shield and pickup noise is low. Downsides... there is a few finish flaws from assembly, tremolo is decked and springs are tighten to the end. You need to lose springs to unlock the bridge/tremolo. Otherwise, this Squier Strat deserve recommendation.
