The Gold Edition of the Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster showcases a gold-anodized pickguard, fine gold hardware and genuine Fender Designed Alnico single coils.
Classic Tele design with classy appointments.
The body of the Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster Gold Edition LRL Black is made of Nyatoh wood and features the original Tele shaping of the prototype. All hardware parts in the form of the 3-saddle strings-through-body Telecaster bridge as well as the control Plate and associated knob caps feature a uniform gold finish and, together with the gold-anodized pickguard, indicate the Gold edition of this anniversary series. On the other hand, the bolt-on maple neck with slim and easy-to-play C-profile provides a classic Fender feeling, which makes licks and riffs go off without a hitch on the 21-fret fretboard made of Indian Laurel. For sound conversion are two Fender Designed Alnico Single Coils ready, which produce with their Alnico V magnets authentic Tele sounds with strong character twang, for which this model is already appreciated for seven decades.
