On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the popular entry-level instruments, Squier sends the Squier 40th Anniversary Precision BassVintage Edition MN Satin Dakota Red a true collector's item for enthusiasts and fans of the dignified retro feeling into the race. While the velvety satin finish and the artificially aged chrome hardware exude the charm of a well-rehearsed instrument, the Fender Designed split-coil pickup provides the distinctive P-Bass sound with which adequate grooves for blues, rock and R'n'B can be laid down.
Thanks to Aged Chrome hardware and Satin finish, the Squier 40th Anniversary Precision Bass Vintage Edition MN Satin Dakota Red exudes authentic vintage vibes.
An engraved Anniversary neck plate helps with the bolt-on connection of the Nyatoh body and maple neck.
Traditional construction
Squier naturally follows traditional specifications in the construction of the 40th Anniversary Precision BassVintage Edition. In addition to the Nyatoh body with classic lines, the bass guitar has a bolt-on maple neck, which thanks to the powerful C-profile with 42.8 mm nut width has excellent playing characteristics with plenty of space for clean finger placement.
With a Fender Designed Alnico split-coil and passive electronics, the Squier 40th Anniversary Vintage Edition P-Bass delivers premium bass tones.
Alnico pickup
The electrical tone conversion of the 40th Anniversary Precision BassVintage Edition is handled by a Fender Designed split-coil pickup in the centre position. The pickup equipped with Alnico magnets elicits the typical Precision Bass sound with a massive low-end growl from the bass amp, which is best suited for basslines between R'n'B, Rock and Blues. The traditional passive circuit with volume control and treble slider also allows precise adjustment of the personal timbre.
Vintage-style open tuners guarantee accurate tuning with long-lasting stability.
Hardware in Aged Chrome Look
High-quality hardware equipment in Aged Chrome Look completes the 40th Anniversary Precision BassVintage Edition MN Satin Dakota Red by Squier. As a bridge, the established 4-saddle hardtail is used on the body, whose four individually adjustable string saddles promise optimal intonation and string action. On the headstock, open Vintage-Style tuners also guarantee a precise and robust tuning of the electric bass.
