The Squier 40th Anniversary Jazz BassGold Edition LRL Olympic White combines on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the popular entry-level instruments from the large Fender family a particularly elegant Custom look with the typical features of the legendary J-Bass. While gold-plated hardware, an anodized pickguard and block inlays make the Bass an absolute eye-catcher and collector's item for Squier fans, the classic construction with slim maple neck promises first-class playing characteristics. Two Fender Designed single-coil pickups with traditional passive switching also elicit typical jazz Bass sounds with enormous flexibility. A solid 4-saddle bridge and tuning stable Vintage-Style tuners complete the 40th Anniversary Jazz BassGold Edition by Squier.

Traditionally built J-Bass
For the 40th Anniversary Gold Edition J-Bass, Squier relies on a maple neck bolted over an engraved Anniversary neckplate, in addition to the Poplar body in a subtle offset design. The usual slim C-profile with 38 mm nut width also promises agile playing characteristics between the 20 frets of the Indian Laurel fingerboard.
Fender-designed single-coil pickups with alnico magnets and a classic passive circuit provide typical J-Bass sounds with high flexibility for almost any music style.
Fender Designed Pickups
As pickup for the 40th Anniversary Jazz BassGold Edition Squier chooses two Fender Designed single-coil pickups, which are equipped with Alnico magnets and provide the Bass amp for flexible sounds between mid-emphasized assertiveness and rich low-end thrust. To customize the tone, the bass guitar also features a traditional passive circuit with separate volume controls for each pickup and a general treble cutoff.
