Vintage shell set from Sonor made of beech wood - Made in Germany
The Sonor Vintage Series Stage Set NM Vintage Pearl contains a three-piece shell set made of beech wood, manufactured in Germany. Consisting of a 12 "x8" tom, a 16 "x14" floor tom and a 22 "x14" Bass drum, it offers classic dimensions and an excellent vintage look. The shells consist of nine layers of beech and are constructed using the "CLTF"(Cross Laminated Tension Free) method. The perfect Vintage sound from Sonor is provided by the round shell ridge in combination with single-ply Remo heads. The Sonor teardrop heads are modelled after the sixties but are equipped with modern Tune Safe technology.
The Vintage Series shells: Vintage Pearl
The shells of the Sonor Vintage Series Stage Set NM Vintage Pearl are glued from a total of 9 layers of beech wood using the "CLTF" (Cross Laminated Tension Free) process to create a perfect instrument. This gives them a total thickness of 6 mm, first-class conditions for an excellent sound and perfect playing feel. Despite the thin walls, Sonor beech shells do not require additional reinforcement rings. The round burr of the Vintage shells ensures maximum head-to-shell contact, which means that the vibrations are transmitted better to the shell and makes tuning easier. This also gives the sound an extra portion of warmth, clarity and a short sustain.
