With the ProLite Snare Drums Sonor the legitimate successor series of the popular S-Classix and Delite Drums is introduced. 100% maple maple shell, Vintage precision-engineered shell hardware and stunning finishes make these drums professional tools for professional drummers.
All hardware parts are underlaid with rubber pads to avoid metal-wood contact. You can choose between beautiful Semi Gloss, High Gloss or Exotic Veneer High Gloss lacquer finishes.
ProLite from Sonor stands for state-of-the-art drums with excellent quality for professional demands. Sonor Only selected maple wood from ecologically sustainable sources is used to manufacture the Prolite boilers.
The 9 layers are glued in the Sonor typical CLTF process for optimum durability and the best possible sound experience and then provided with 45° burrs. The thickness of the Prolite maple kettle is kept to a minimum (4mm) thanks to its " Vintage construction", resulting in an incredibly broad sound spectrum.
For additional stabilisation, the boiler edges are fitted with a 2 mm reinforcement ring. This focuses the sound immensely and gives every punch on the one Snare a warm, crisp attack that is unparalleled.
