High-speed network connectivity with 10GbE

The Sonnet Twin10G SFP28 PCIe card extends computers with PCIe slots and powerful 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over fiber. It provides two SFP28 ports for reliable high-speed connections and is ideal for demanding applications such as 4K video editing with shared storage. With SMB Multichannel support, both ports can be combined to achieve significantly higher bandwidth and improved network utilization.

For easy integration into the network, two short-range SFP28 transceivers are included, enabling transmissions over up to 300 meters. Long-distance modules are also available as an option, covering distances of up to 10 kilometers. The network card supports teaming under Windows and Linux, allowing performance to be increased beyond a single connection. In addition, load balancing optimizes network traffic, reduces latency and increases fault tolerance by seamlessly rerouting connections in the event of a failure.

The PCIe card is compatible with macOS, Windows and Linux and can be used in Sonnet's Thunderbolt expansion systems to add 10GbE connectivity to computers without internal expansion capabilities. Simple installation is achieved by inserting the card into a PCIe slot, connecting the supplied SFP28 modules and configuring the network via the respective operating system.

Both a full-height and a low-profile bracket are included for mounting in different systems. The card comes with a two-year warranty and lifetime technical support from Sonnet.
