It doesn't matter whether you want to process single tracks, instrument busses or entire mixes - thanks to numerous new profiles, smart:comp 2 always finds the right solution for balanced dynamics.
Of course, you still have the choice of how much the signal can be processed automatically. With a total of 2000 bands, work is constantly being done to optimize the transparency of the compression. This revolutionary technology is also behind smart:comp 2's frequency-dependent sidechain ducking. Potential spectral conflicts between the input and the sidechain signal are automatically eliminated, giving the sidechain signal the space it needs - and only where it really needs it.
