The 24-pair SC-Quantum QMC is suitable for professional cabling in Studio and on stage. It is a roadworthy cable for rack wiring and more made of high quality materials. Its S-PVC jacket is strong and soft at the same time, resulting in a flexible cable for optimal manageability. Fine CU individual strands of 0.07 mm as well as PE-insulated core insulation also contribute their part.

In addition to its resistance in combination with uncomplicated handling, the cable shines with excellent electrical and mechanical data. The wire pairs with a cross-section of 2x 0.14 mm² made of high-purity copper ensure good conductivity. Due to the symmetrical signal transmission, a CU spiral shield with 99% coverage and the low capacitance of 45 pF wire/wire, the cable is extremely insensitive to interference even over long distances and furthermore has excellent performance as well as AES/EBU conformity.

Balanced signal transmission

Balanced transmission is used in professional applications, such as in recording studios, because it can guarantee freedom from interference even over long distances. Cables with balanced signal transmission have an additional useful signal-carrying conductor through which the same voltage is sent, but whose oscillations are mirror-inverted. Any interference thus has an even effect on the signal conductors. However, since the useful signal consists of opposite-pole voltage values, the interference is practically cancelled out by difference formation.
