The Snareweight M80W Magnetic Drum Damper is a high quality leather strip that fits every hoop. The leather stripe is simply attached to any conventional hoop. A practical magnetic system offers different levels of damping, because the overtone damper can be folded to the side as well as up and down. The sound can be modified by the different positions of the leather strap, comparable to a treble button on a guitar amp. The Snareweight M80W Magnetic Drum Damper is a compressor that provides a naturally dry sound during a studio recording or live performance.
