Shakmat Modular two-channel clock generator
The Clock O'Pawn Mk2 from Shakmat is a stand-alone two-channel clock generator and MIDI input. The module independently generates clock signals with a specific BPM reference and can start, synchronize and reset connected modules such as sequencers, Sequential switches or clock dividers. The MIDI input is available via a supplied adapter cable, making the module the link between, for example, a groovebox, DAW etc. and the modules behind it that require a Clock. The primary "Clock" output can be provided with all groove variants and timings. For the second clock output "16th", you can set whether the Clock is sent constantly even when stopped. This is useful for synchronizable LFOs and effects, for example, as some modules remain in their state or do not work completely without Clock. The reset socket is used to reset connected modules to zero or "1". The tempo is displayed at Display and can be set between 30 and 300 BPM; this can also be set via Tap Tempo respectively follows the incoming MIDI clock. The Accent output is based on 27 patterns that generate triggers with different tempos and time signatures. A total of 16 memory locations offer Total Recall for the module's most frequently used configurations.
