With the XS Wireless 2 series, Sennheiser offers an easy-to-use and flexible way to reliably transmit vocals, speech and instruments. The focus is on clarity, intuitiveness and, above all, quality - three criteria that each of the six different sets fulfills very well. Among the top features of the UHF wireless system are the integrated antennas, the bright and clear display, and a scan and sync function that can be activated simply by pressing a button. If you place particular value on fast configuration, easy handling and special sound in the overall package, you absolutely can't go wrong with the XS Wireless 2 series - and even in combination with up to 12 systems! It also offers manual options for channel selection and additional True Diversity technology.
Sennheiser's XSW 2-CI1-GB Instrument Set is aimed primarily at guitarists and bassists, as the included cable with the two different jack plugs matched to the set provides the optimal connection between the instrument and the bodypack transmitter.
Powered by 2 AA batteries, the SK XSW bodypack transmitter comes with an integrated display that clearly shows the most important information about the current operating status. Since this bodypack transmitter is included in four of the six XSW 1 sets, a lavalier microphone, gooseneck microphone and headset can also be connected thanks to the mic/line input. In addition, there is also a practical on/off switch to conserve battery power.
The EM XSW2 receiver impresses with its modern, simple design, which clearly displays all important functions at first glance. The front panel is kept very simple and therefore very easy to use. Channel selection, volume control and set scan are combined in one control element, while another button is responsible for synchronization between the devices. The respective status (e.g. battery, reception) can be easily read from the display, as well as the channel number for the connected devices. The receiver offers the possibility to switch between 8 frequency banks with up to 12 channel presets each.
If you look at the back, there are the two outputs with XLR (balanced) and jack plugs (unbalanced) as well as an associated switch - so each console is operated, to which the signal is to be applied. To optimize reception in difficult situations (e.g. due to randomly received radio frequencies), the squelch control can be adjusted, which is also located on the rear panel.
The XS Wireless 2 system receivers come in a rugged metal housing, external antennas and have two receivers (true diversity)
