Most in-ear headphones today use balanced armature transducers, as found in hearing aids. With this technology, the sound signal is split by a crossover and distributed to several drivers. Phase shifts and other unwanted effects may occur.

Sennheiser has further developed the principle of the dynamic single driver, revolutionising the market for in-ear headphones. Thanks to the new TrueResponse technology, the entire frequency spectrum can be mapped with just a single driver, without any crossover effects or phase shifts. The sound is completely distortion-free, reducing acoustic stress for musicians, sound engineers and DJs. It remains natural and differentiated even at very high sound pressure levels - and can assert itself even in the loudest environments. Our new in-ear headphones deliver what they promise: "More me" - for better performance through improved hearing.
