The HMD 26-II series was developed for demanding broadcast applications in studios for radio and television as well as for live and outdoor transmissions. This light-weight headset offers first- class comfort with its extra soft head and ear pads, even during long sessions. These headphones are the right dimensions for high volume levels through the closed, over-ear capsule construction. All variations are equipped with the ActiveGard Limiter which protects hearing against sudden level spikes up to 105dB when activated.

The dynamic microphone with a Hyper-Cardioid directional characteristic operates with a very linear frequency range and transmits the sound in excellent quality in loud environments. Structure-borne noise is absorbed by the special mounting assembly of the microphone capsule. The swivelling microphone possesses a flexible arm that allows for perfect positioning.
