The Sennheiser EW-DX 835-S set brings state-of-the-art digital wireless technology to the stage, studio and professional AV environments. With its enormous dynamic range, extremely low latency and intelligent frequency management, this system is ideal for anyone who expects uncompromising audio quality, reliability and user-friendliness.

Highest audio quality - without any gain adjustment

Thanks to the proprietary Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec (SePAC), the EW-DX offers an outstanding input dynamic range of 134 dB. This means that no manual gain adjustment is required at the transmitter - even with extremely different signal sources, the sound remains transparent and clear.

Smart, safe and future-proof

The integrated AutoScan function analyzes your environment and automatically selects suitable frequencies with equidistant channel tuning - without any expert knowledge in the RF field. Thanks to AES-256 encryption, transmission is secure at all times, even for sensitive content.

With the Smart Assist app (available from the end of 2023), the system can be conveniently configured via Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) from up to 25 meters away. Remote control is also possible via Sennheiser Control Cockpit and Wireless Systems Manager (WSM) as well as via third-party systems via plug-in.

Efficiency meets versatility

The supplied BA 70 lithium-ion rechargeable battery provides a runtime of up to 12 hours. The operating buttons on the hand-held transmitter allow direct control of all settings including the locking function. A special highlight: the persistent E-Ink display permanently shows important information even when the batteries are removed.

Maximum number of channels - minimum effort

With a switching bandwidth of up to 88 MHz and two operating modes (standard: 600 kHz spacing for up to 146 channels, link density: 300 kHz for up to 293 channels), the system can be integrated into any infrastructure - efficiently and without intermodulation. The extremely low latency of just 1.9 ms ensures a natural playing experience with no perceptible delay.

Modularly expandable

The EW-DX is compatible with a wide range of Sennheiser and Neumann capsules thanks to the standardized capsule interface. Various options are available for charging in the device (optionally available): CHG 70N, L 70 USB and the LM 6070 module for the professional L 6000 rack charging station.
