With the new EW-D system, Sennheiser is opening up new possibilities where other systems have so far reached their limits. Where else can you establish a connection in seconds and have up to 90 fully scalable channels? Of course, this happens almost completely latency-free!

The Evolution Wireless Digital System

The Sennheiser EW-D SKM-S BASE SET Q1-6 (470.2-526 MHz) consists of a stationary EW-D EM Rack Receiver and the EW-D SKM-S digital handheld microphone for use with a wide range of Evolution Wireless Digital microphone capsules (microphone module sold separately). The Sennheiser system uses the equidistant frequency grid, which was previously only used in the high-end Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 systems from Sennheiser. This makes complex frequency coordination a thing of the past. This means that even non-experts in radio technology can operate and set up the new system really quickly and easily. All settings are made via the Display and the function keys.

Pocket-sized sound engineer

Thanks to Bluetooth Low Energy, you have full control over the entire system - with the Sennheiser Smart Assist app. Take advantage of remote control and mobile access to every single system setting conveniently via your Android or iOS device.

If you don't want to search for free frequencies, you can activate the automatic setup and all parameters are automatically adjusted in the system. This works simultaneously with several radio links. This saves you time and effort and allows you to concentrate fully on your performance.

Battery or rechargeable battery - that is the question!

The new Sennheiser EW-D system can be operated with conventional AA batteries with a runtime of up to 6 hours. The Sennheiser BA 70 rechargeable battery is available as an option, which is much more ecological than batteries that are thrown away after a single use. The rechargeable battery also has a long runtime of up to 12 hours.

Frequency range

The Sennheiser EW-D SKM-S BASE SET Q1-6 operates in the frequency range 470.2-526 MHz and can therefore be used in the USA, Canada, EU, UK, Brazil, Russia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Scope of delivery

All models of the Evolution Wireless Digital System are supplied with a rack kit that allows easy installation in a 19" rack. The scope of delivery also includes a power supply unit with country-specific adapters.
