With the brand-new AVX series, the renowned audio manufacturer Sennheiser presents a series of new transmission systems that are specifically aimed at the professional and semi-professional video and broadcast sector. At the same time, handling is extremely simple. The compact receiver, which can be rotated 360 degrees, is simply plugged into the microphone input of the camera, where it automatically synchronizes with the microphone transmitter. The system independently searches for a free transmission frequency, adjusts the sensitivity to the camera and transmits the audio signal via a specially protected connection in the license-free 1.9 GHz range. For DSLR cameras with a jack input, the AVX sets include an adapter cable from XLR to mini jack, as well as a hot shoe adapter that allows the receiver to be quickly and securely mounted on the digital SLR camera.
The SKM AVX-835S is the handheld transmitter for the AVX wireless digital microphone system. This rugged cardioid dynamic microphone suppresses side-incident noise in noisy environments. It is the ideal choice for street interviews.
