The Schlagwerk CP4007 is an alder cajon with a burl veneer playing surface, and dimensions of 30 x 30 x 50cm. Affectionately referred to as “el negro” in the Flamenco scene, the most successful Schlagwerk Cajon has not lost any of its aesthetics or its versatility within varying music styles. CP 4007 – the classic Cajon- is setting the tone for the modern cajon sound. Leagues ahead in quality and sound definition: tried and tested a thousand times, La-Perù technology is based on special cajon strings, whose individual sounds can be adjusted with the help of tuning screws located at the base. The playing surfaces are supported by bases made of optimised woods.
The main features of the Schlagwerk CP4007 include:
Playing surface: burl veneer
Resonance box: 7 layers of alder, approx. 30 x 30 x 50 cm
