Agile handling from the lowest to the highest registers
With the Schecter Solo-II CustomAgedBlack Satin, Schecter Guitar Research sends a classically styled Singlecut electric guitar with excellent playing and sound characteristics into the race. While classic tonewoods and the set-neck construction create the basis for a powerful sound, the slim neck with compound-radius ebony fingerboard promises agile handling from the lowest to the highest register. Schecter USA Pasadena humbuckers also elicit extremely hot sounds from the guitar amp, which are ideally suited for tight riffing and virtuoso singing solos. Indestructible Hardware in the form of a TonePros Locking bridge and tuning stable locking tuners completes the Solo-II Custom electric guitar from Schecter.
Singlecut guitar with agile handling
The basis for the powerful, yet differentiated sound of the Solo-II Custom is created by the traditional combination of a mahogany body with an arched maple top and a glued, three-piece mahogany neck. The pleasantly flat "Thin C" neck profile and the compound radius of the ebony fingerboard (305 mm to 406 mm), which increases from 12" to 16", also promise optimal conditions for agile playability in all registers.
Schecter USA Pickups
As pickup for the Solo-II Custom guitar Schecter chooses in the USA wound humbuckers from own house. The Schecter USA Pasadena Plus humbucker in the bridge position puts the amp under pressure with a powerful Output and elicits a juicy "Brown Sound", which even with fast playing and low Tuning every note is sharply defined. The more moderate Schecter USA Pasadena humbucker on the neck, on the other hand, promises not only a creamy Overdrive for singing leads, but also particularly fat and warm clean sounds. Both humbuckers can be split via the push/pull switch in the tone control, so that particularly transparent single-coil sounds are also part of the electric guitar's repertoire.
Indestructible hardware
Last but not least, Schecter completes the Solo-II CustomAgedBlack Satin Singlecut guitar with an optimally tuned hardware setup. From the TonePros T1Z Locking stopbar the strings are guided over the TonePros T3BT LockingTOM bridge, which not only guarantees exact adjustment of intonation and string action, but also supports the guitar's lively tonal character by locking firmly onto the holding pins. While in front of the headstock an Ernie Ball nut with compensated string rests ensures a clean display of the strings played empty, Schecter Locking tuners keep the electric guitar securely in the exact tuning.
