With the Schecter Aaron Marshall AM-7 Cobalt Slate, Aaron Marshall - founder and creative mastermind of the Canadian progressive metal band Intervals - gets a signature instrument tailored to his musical demands. For this purpose, an agile doublecut design is used, which in combination with two in-house Schecter USA humbuckers and high-quality Hardware from Hipshot and GraphTech stands for first-class sounds and absolute technical precision.

Ergonomic basswood body & Thin-'C' screw neck.
To make access to the highest registers of the fine Macassar Ebony fingerboard as comfortable as possible, the basswood body of the Schecter Aaron Marshall AM-7 Cobalt Slate features two wide cutaways with additional ergonomic bevels on the front and back, merging into the instrument's slim neck heel. For the fretting hand, on the other hand, the wenge screw neck with agile Thin-C profile provides the appropriate basis for implementing the most complex playing techniques.
Schecter USA Solstice & Equinox Humbucker
The two humbuckers used in the Schecter Aaron Marshall AM-7 Cobalt Slate were specially made for Aaron and convince with powerful high gain sounds and a versatile sound. In bridge position, the Schecter USA Solstice offers a clear and defined character, and also in higher distortion fields to deliver the necessary bite, while the Schecter USA Equinox on the neck shines with warm, round sounds and pronounced mid range. Thanks to the five-position pickup selector switch, a variety of combinations can be switched between the two pickups.

Of course, for the Schecter Aaron Marshall AM-7 Cobalt Slate only high-quality noble parts are used. The self-lubricating GraphTech Black TUSQ XL nut with 48 mm width in combination with six closed Hipshot Grip-Lock tuners with practical clamping function ensures reliable tuning stability and fast string changes.
