With the Schaller S-Locks presents Schaller the next generation of the famous Security Locks . Introduced in 1981, the guitar strap buckle system now features an extended 6mm screw axis for easy attachment to thick leather straps, while the new Lock-Wheel can be tightened and locked in place with a clamping screw. In addition, the specially turned 4mm thread of the strap pins ensures a secure hold in most common instruments.
Overview:
Schaller S-Locks Set consisting of two belt pins and belt buckles
I've always had Schaller straplocks, since their introduction (when I had them fitted to my '70 Telecaster in 1987). The only pisser with them was when I'd be in a studio, and the engineer would come over the talkback: "I think your straplocks are making a noise again. Can you take the strap off and sit down..?"! Those days are now, thankfully, a thing of the past with this new design. I have always used Doctor Song straps, but it was almost impossible to get a straplock onto one of their 3" (extremely thick) straps... now it's a doddle. Took me 5 minutes to fit these.
The 'Satin Pearl' finish is the closest I could get to the original hardware on the Strat Plus these were always bound for.
Highly recommend adding this to your basket, and they really do knock all their competitors into a cocked-hat. 'Premium'.
