The body of the Sandberg California TT5 Passive MN Creme Hardcore Aged is made of Brunswick Alder, while the six-bolt neck is made of maple equipped with a maple fingerboard. This 5-string electric bass therefore convinces with a crisp base sound, whose precise sound development and long sustain provide the perfect basis for any style of music. With its comfortably designed "C" profile, the neck nestles into the hand when playing, so that even complex bass lines can be realized with ease on the slim fingerboard with 22 frets offering familiar tonal range.

The pickups of the Sandberg California TT5 Passive MN Creme Hardcore Aged are Sandberg's own single coils with Alnico V magnets and the traditional passive circuit with two volume controls and one tone control. Accordingly, the California TT5 covers a wide range of classical sound nuances, making it the perfect all-rounder for pop, rock, blues and even jazz. The low B-string is perfectly integrated into the sound with crisp attack and even sustain.
With their low weight, the accurate Sandberg Machine Heads prevent top-heaviness.
Sophisticated in-house hardware
The hardware configuration of the Sandberg California TT5 Passive was developed in-house and presents itself with well thought-out functionality. The solidly built Sandberg Bridge 5 ensures an even tone and sustain development, while the three-dimensionally adjustable string saddles not only allow the intonation and string position to be perfectly adjusted, but also the string spacing to suit personal taste. At the headstock the strings run over the nut to the Sandberg Machine Heads, which convince with absolute tuning stability and counteract top-heaviness due to their low weight.
