The Sandberg California TT4 Passive RW Creme Hardcore Aged from the Braunschweig-based instrument forge convinces as a classically built electric bass with variable sound and a harmonious modern Vintage design. The four-string has an alder body and a six-fold bolted maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, while two Sandberg Alnico single coils with traditional passive circuitry take over the electrical sound conversion. In addition, the Sandberg California TT4 Passive features the familiar massive Sandberg Bridge 4 and precise Sandberg Machine Heads. Last but not least, the lovingly executed Hardcore Aged Finish conveys the Look feel of an instrument played over decades.

The body of the Sandberg California TT4 Passive is made of Braunschweig alder, while the six-screw neck is made of maple and the fingerboard of rosewood. Accordingly, the 4-string electric bass convinces with a loud basic sound, whose precise sound development and long sustain provide the perfect basis for every musical style. With its comfortably designed "C" profile, the neck nestles into the hand when playing the electric bass, so that even complex bass lines can be played with ease on the slim fingerboard. Here 22 frets offer the usual range.

The solid Sandberg Bridge 4 ensures an even tone and sustain development, while at the same time the three-dimensionally adjustable string riders not only allow the intonation and string position to be perfectly adjusted, but also the string spacing to suit personal taste. At the headstock the strings run over zero fret and saddle to the Sandberg machine heads, which convince with absolute tuning stability and counteract top-heaviness with their low weight.
