In addition to the ash body and the comfortable maple neck, the Basic 4 Bass features a powerful Sandberg power humbucker along with matching active electronics, which elicit a surprising variety of tones from the bass amplifier. Last but not least, the Basic 4 Greenline PF Natural Satin Bass from Sandberg is equipped with a Sandberg Bridge 4 and encapsulated Sandberg Die-Cast Machine Heads. As a B-stock instrument, the Basic four-string features a paint flaw above the treble pot.

For the construction of the Sandberg Basic 4 bass guitar, the Brunswick-based company relies on a proven wood selection that guarantees a crisp sound with an even Sustain. Accordingly, the body is made of ash, while the five-piece maple and mahogany neck carries a beautiful pau ferro fingerboard. Here, the flat C-profile offers smooth playability up to the 24th fret, while the modern body design maintains a perfectly balanced playing position on both the strap and the thigh.

With the sustainable Sandberg Basic Greenline, the cult company from Braunschweig positions itself against the waste of natural resources. The pickup on the Basic 4 is a Sandberg Powerhumbucker, which is mounted in the sweet spot of the string vibration.
