Seamless signal transmission without latency

The SSL MADI Opti-Coax is a format converter device that bi-directionally converts up to 64 audio channels between MADI Optical and MADI Coaxial formats. With support for 64 channels at 48 kHz (32 channels at 96 kHz), it enables seamless conversion without latency or degradation of audio quality. The front panel is equipped with a MADI SC duplex optical input and output as well as a MADI BNC coaxial input and output, which guarantees flexible use in a wide variety of setups.

In addition to simple format conversion, the device can be used in combination with another MADI Opti-Coax to extend MADI coax connections up to 1 kilometer using the MADI Optical format. The robust metal housing with non-slip rubber feet ensures reliable performance in studio or live applications. A standard IEC C14 mains socket provides the power supply. Up to three devices can be mounted next to each other in a 19-inch rack to save space. For additional flexibility, T-slots on the sides offer further mounting options.
