Eight-channel microphone preamplifier in 120V technology
With the Crescendo, SPL offers an 8-channel microphone preamplifier that works completely symmetrically. Due to the 120V technology used, this preamplifier can hardly be overdriven. The Crescendo shines with absolute signal fidelity and clarity. The input stage is constructed with 10 pairs of matched PNP transistors (differential input transistors), resulting in an extremely low noise level and a very high common mode rejection. Each of the eight preamp sections of the Crescendo has an individual preamplifier control (Mic Gain), its own VU meter, a phase reversal switch, phantom power, a -20dB PAD switch and a reduction for displaying the level in the VU meter (VU -10).
