Roli Lightpad Block

The Roli Lightpad Block is a versatile system for making music for beginners to professionals. Lightpad Blocks fit easily into your hand and have more power than a whole studio full of instruments. Together with the NOISE app, you can make any kind of music you want on the versatile surface from drum beats to guitar solos to orchestral melodies.

The Lightpad Block features a silicone surface that is pressure-sensitive and controllable by tapping, pressing and moving your fingers on the surface, so you can edit the individual sounds to your liking. The surface is illuminated with LEDs and each touch leaves a light track.

The Lightpad Block allows you to change sounds by touching them in five different ways. Tap on the surface to play a sound, just like on a piano or drums. Swipe your fingers left and right to change the pitch, just like a violin. Move the fingers up and down to modulate the sound. Press the surface to make the sound sound lower, like a saxophonist who blows more strongly into his instrument. Lift the fingers differently from the surface to change the resonance of a sound. In Learn mode, you will see light trails on the surface that will help you play beats and melodies.

The Lightpad Block is a beat machine so you can use your finger to quickly touch different pads on the illuminated surface. This way you can create beats like playing the right drums. Choose a Groove Kit and create a few grooves by simply moving your fingers over the surface.
