The conductor of this ultra-compact set is the high-performing TD-4 sound module with 125 drum and percussion sounds. With these features, the TD-4KP delivers the ideal features for use in the practice-room, on small stages or simply for at home. With the TD-4KP E-Drum Set from the popular V-Drums series the company Roland brings the two incompatible appearing topics "E-Drums" and "mobility" to a common denominator, because the V-Drums Portable Series Roland offers a first drumset that lace into a relatively tiny package and transport as convenient, easily and quickly leaves. It must not be omitted, of course on the proven high quality of the Roland V-Drum Series. And even in the assembled state, the TD-4KP V-Drums Portable Electronic Drum Set associated with a footprint of just 1.1 x 1.2 meters the smallest space. Assembly and disassembly make is quite simple: With just a few clicks, the TD-4KP is ready to play, because neither the pads nor the wiring needs to be resolved for the transport.
The powerful TD-4 sound module is the driving force for the ultra-compact TD-4KP V-Drums Portable Set. It includes 125 drum and percussion sounds from all imaginable styles stored in a total of 25 drum kits. The usual high quality sounds can be tuned on the module. With the mixer parameters, further changes in the pad-volume, pan, Kit volume and cross stick volume can be used. Special feature: the TD-4 sound module offers 9 different ambience types to its sounds for the final touch. The backlit LCD display guarantees a quick overview of the settings made. Thanks to Quick Rec function, the module can record the played in real time with a resolution of 96 ticks per quarter note. The overall note memory has a capacity of approximately 9,000 notes. The extensive Coach mode helps in a playful way to improve skills. Besides Warm-Ups, Quiet-Count and Auto-Up/Down exercises, the TD-4 sound module also holds the functions Time and Tempo Check promising learning success after a very short time.
The snare and tom pads have a diameter of 7.5" and are equipped with a padded, rubberized surface and combine a natural feeling with a strong rebound. Crash and hi-hat pad each have two trigger zones, which can be obtained by playing on the edge or on the surface drive. The ride cymbal can even elicit a third sound by increased impact strength. All drum and cymbal pads are connected via practical multicore cable to the sound module.

Hihat, Crash and Ride pads are two-zone, other pads are one-zone, but you can upgrade snare pad to two-zone and I plan to do it in future.
Kick pad is rather small, so it was a surprise for me that I could use my double pedal with it.
Im very pleased with this drumset, because Ive got exactly what I wanted.
Roland is Roland. They make best electronic drums.
I received what i expected and even more. The kit is perfect for home trainings/recording. I live in a student dorm and have very little free space, but this set found its place easily. Besides, as all the pads are from rubber, my neighbors never have troubles with me.
The module is flexible with different sounds and options, so the sound can be adjusted per your wishes, except the thing what you cant make your own, additional to 25 basic kits, sound kit.
What especially i wanted to mention - the ride cymbal has 4 sounds - the "tick" sound, the bell sound, the crash sound if you beat it harder and at last the muting sound. So probably you can say it has 2 zones, but in fact you can drag 4 different sounds.
Everything else about the drums is perfect, i feel like i grow in practice level. Rock!
if you have an experience with the sounds of TD4 then the rest are to fit to you. very good practice set. if we straggle to find the "negatives" of it I would say it is a little "small", (for me) and I would also consider to upgrade the pads as they are a little noisy.
In overall, I recommend it to anyone as it is a really good e drum set.
I loved this eletronic drums set. Nothing to complain. it is simply perfect! it is easy for mounting and unmounting, full of really cool sounds, pretty good options to play with setting, practicing to move from one place to another, can be used to learn and also to work with.
I really reccomend this eletronic drums set.
