GO:PIANO88 Demo
The Roland GO:PIANO88 at a glance
The GO:PIANO88 from Roland is a slim, lightweight stage piano with a velocity-sensitive 88-key full-size keyboard. The keyboard itself is a box type keyboard with an ivory feel. This significantly reduces the risk of fingers slipping while playing. With a weight of only 5.8 kg, the instrument is very portable; the built-in stereo loudspeakers with 2x 6 watt output and alternative power supply with eight AA batteries also do justice to this. This means you can perform wherever you are. With 64 voices, the polyphony is sufficiently high to ensure that no note is lost even when playing fast. With 40 sounds from the categories piano, electric piano, organ and "other", the GO:PIANO88 offers a solid all-round selection of popular sounds to cover a wide range of musical genres from classical to rock, pop and jazz. The free Roland Piano App gives you access to a further 256 GM2 sounds. The sounds can be adapted to the spatial conditions and your own taste with the Chorus, Reverb and Sympathetic Resonance effects. In addition, the app offers a number of setting options to adapt the GO:PIANO88 to your own playing behavior and to adjust parameters. Other functions such as layers for superimposing two different sounds, a switchable metronome that provides rhythmic orientation while playing and a simple recording function round off the features. Audio and MIDI are transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth and wired via USB-C between smartphone, tablet and computer. This is particularly advantageous when using the Roland Piano app.
