The Roland Cube-120XL is a compact combo for electric bass that covers a wide range of sounds thanks to the integrated modelling amplifier. The 120 watt output power, which is delivered via a 12" coaxial loudspeaker, and the innovative Air Flow bass reflex system provide a fat sound. In addition, extensive connection options are available for the acceptance of the Combos.
The integrated modelling amplifier of the Roland Cube-120XL is based on Roland COSM technology and convinces with its high sound diversity. In addition to eight modelings of bass amplifiers, which depict the most popular and legendary bass amplifiers of recent years, an extensive effects section is also available. This offers compressor, overdrive, chorus, octaver, reverb and delay. The latter can also be used as a looper with 80 seconds recording time and overdub function. A 4-band tone control is also available for adjusting the sound.
With its 120 Watt output power the Roland Cube-120XL has sufficient volume reserves for the first steps in the rehearsal room or on the stage. The 12" coaxial loudspeaker promises a particularly balanced reproduction, which brings out every nuance of the game and the character of the bass used. At the same time, the innovative Air Flow bass reflex system ensures a rich reproduction of the low frequencies, which is noticeable comfortably in the pit of the stomach.
In addition, the Roland Cube-120XL is equipped with extensive connections. A balanced output is available for pickup on stage or in the studio, whose level can be switched between line or DI level. The recording output, which also functions as a headphone jack, provides a high-quality speaker simulation, while the aux-in allows playback of backing tracks. Combo also offers a connector for external speakers and three sockets for optionally available foot switches.
