Wind instruments are covered with soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones, clarinet, flute, trumpet to shakuhachi flute and bagpipes, among others. Stringed instruments like violin, cello and even an erhu lute can also be found in the sound selection. All sounds can be given delay, chorus, reverb & multi-effects thanks to the powerful effects processor. Detailed sound changes and the organization of the sounds is conveniently done with the free available Aerophone Pro Editor (iOS & Android) application on your smartphone or tablet. The blow converter is playable on up to four parts, which is divided into three parts for instrument sounds and one for percussion. Thus, supported by a DAW, you can record a small arrangement single-handedly and play it back in the AE-20.
The AE-20 Aerophone is not only a stand-alone instrument, it also allows you to control external devices via MIDI, USB and Bluetooth. Thanks to the blow control, completely new possibilities arise that a keyboard cannot offer. By the way, via USB the audio signal of the AE-20 is also transferred lossless directly to the DAW.
