As usual with Rycote products the build quality is excellent and the materials very durable. I bought two of these WS8 windshields to use with a different, stereo mic - the Superlux S502 and although they are a little tight they fit well over the caspules. And better too tight that too loose. I'll be using them when I take my S502 outside for field recording purposes.
These work well for the price range. Quick and simple to apply, fit my NT55s well. I've tested them during the mad weather we've had in the uk and they've put up a good fight. Wind still somewhat audible, but only in intense blasts. Even then, they stop the mics from clipping. They're also great in very light rain, no artefacts in recording and protect the mics for a little while. They're quite bulbous, with an internal foam bulb, so you'll have to accommodate for that if you're wanting to set up an xy stereo. I generally record with a wider angle stereo setup, so these work perfectly.
