Electric guitar in "Cresting Wave" design with Rickenbacker pickups, including case
The Rickenbacker 620, Jetglo is a 6-String electric guitar based on Rickenbacker's famous 1950s 'cresting wave' style guitars.
The 620 has a maple body with a wave-shaped cutaway, while its double-bound maple neck has triangular pearloid inlay markings. The 620 Jetglo offers two of Rickenbacker's high-gain single coil pickups with volume and tone controls for both. There is a 3-way pickup selector switch as well as a mixer control to mix in the signal of the bridge pickup with the neck pickup.
The Ricki 620 offers stereo output in addition to a standard mono output, and the guitar is completed by Rickenbacker's trademark headstock and 'R' shaped tailpiece.
The Rickenbacker 620, Jetglo's main features include:
This guitar is probably more versitile then alot of people think. This would would work great for Classic Rock, and Country. Smooth fast playing neck Signature chimey Rickenbacker sound.Very underrated , as many have mentioned for only a few ducats more than the more popular California guitars you can have one of these excellent instruments. I had an older 330 style a few years back, and while it was a great guitar I find that I'm more of a solid body guy, so when this popped up at a good price (supposedly used..I can't tell) I gladly sold my MIM Strat & Tele, and LP Faded. and bought this bad boy.
Many people think of this as a "pop" guitar, but this can rock as hard as any GIbby and twang like a Fender, and I often play Jazz on it! Sounds great thru my old Maganatone Starlighter, and my Marshall Lead 12...
