Made famous by the legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt in his Quintette du Hot Club de France days in the 1930s in Paris, the original model needed to project the guitarist’s lighting fast arpeggios over his four accompanists. The guitar is an entry level instrument so don't expect Cigano sound quality. Having said that the guitar is beautiful to look at and plays really nicely. Nice easy action throughout the neck so great for practising your scales and arpeggios. Makes a very convincing gypsy jazz sound and this could probably be tweaked further through experimentation with strings and plectrum. Plenty of volume to for jamming in small groups or busking . I think it is an ideal entry level gypsy jazzz guitar that you can add to your guitar collection without breaking the bank. I'm delighted with it.

The guitar has a characteristic sound. I did not find any problems. All is very good.
This guitar is realy good, it has a good scale, good sound, perfect to study, perfect to record, and perfect to live acts as well. The price is suitable. The aspect is even better that I expected, and you can play any kind of style you prefer. The guitar is made to gypsy style, but fits well with a bossa nova, and classic jazz.
Good guitar for players getting into Gypsy Jazz style playing. Well finished. I had to lower the action slightly to suit my preference - easy adjustment to bridge. Stable tuning. Great value. Excellent service from DV 247 Music Store who delivered the instrument as promised. Very much recommended!
Having been a long time guitarist, and Django Reinhardt fan, I finally decided to put some real effort into mastering Gypsy Jazz. This guitar provides everything I need, for an incredibly low price. Amazing action, gorgeous sound and a speedy fretboard. It really ticks all boxes for me. The service was excellent and the guitar was with me within a few days of placing my order. I love this guitar!
