Remo's double-layer Pinstripe skins are undoubtedly one of the classics among drum skins. The Pinstripes are known for particularly fat, deep sounds with moderate attack and very short sustain and can be found particularly often in pop and rock music as well as at R´n´B In the "Clear" and "Coated" versions the Pinstripe skins consist of two layers of Mylar with a thickness of 7 mil (approx. 0.18 mm) each, while the Pinstripe Ebony skins consist of two different thick layers with 10 mil (approx. 0.25 mm) and 5 mil (approx. 0.13 mm).
