The Relab Maselec MEA-2 brings the sonic brilliance and craftsmanship of a legendary hardware EQ directly to your DAW. Developed in close collaboration with renowned engineer Leif Mases, this is the only officially licensed plugin of the famous MEA-2 hardware. This plugin has been carefully modeledafter the analog model and enhanced with modern features to suit the workflow of today's producers.

The focus is on asymmetrical, hand-tuned unique Q curves, which enable particularly musical and expressive sound processing. The MEA-2 is ideal for use in mastering, as it impresses with its smooth frequency response, high resolution and unadulterated fidelity.

Optimized for modern production environments

A key feature is the mid/side processing, which can be configured individually for each frequency band. This enhancement compared to the analog model allows extremely precise interventions in the stereo image. In addition, solo isolation per band ensures that critical frequencies can be specifically localized and processed . Serial signal processing means that the interaction between the bands remains traceable at all times.

In addition, the plug-in offers a scalable user interface, a balance control, the option of stereo linking individual bands and modern preset management. In mixing and mastering, the Maselec MEA-2 delivers reliable results at the highest level - musically, efficiently and with excellent sound quality.

In addition to its authentic sound characteristics, the MEA-2 also impresses with numerous practical workflow enhancements, including a fixed gain curve in solo mode for precise frequency focusing.
