With the Red Panda Particle 2, the Detroit-based effects company is launching a revised version of its popular Granular Delay and Pitch shifter. In addition to the pedalboard-friendly housing with front-side jacks, the pedal also offers a powerful DSP for an increased number of Grains and a higher sampling rate. Here, the Granular Synthesis Engine, which breaks down the signal into small Grains in the millisecond range, offers five delay modes and three pitch modes for sound tinkerers who like to experiment. Accordingly, the sound spectrum of Red Panda Particle 2 ranges from dreamy delay modulations to bit-crusher-like stuttering and glitching to robot voice.

What a great pedal from Red Panda! Yes it is bright! And yes it has a losing cave to extract the best, but it also allows great freedom to just plug and play..
However, when used as a studio tool it truly proves worth it. Pitch. shifting oaths is amazing! Vocals, drums whatever!! Great stuff.
