With the Red Panda Bitmap, the Detroit effects company presents a versatile bitcrusher effect for electric guitar, whose two effect modes invite creative experimentation and discovery of new sound images. In crush mode, the classic bit crusher is available to authentically reproduce the character of classic samplers or the sound of an 8-bit video game console. But wild fuzz sounds can also be achieved here. In Mod mode, however, the sample rate is modulated around the preset setting, resulting in wild overtone gameplay. The waveform of the modulation can also be selected in Mod mode for special sound variability.
