The Radial Catapult is a modular audio snake that transmits four analog or AES audio channels over a single shielded Cat 5 cable. The Catapult allows installers to take advantage of pre-wired networks to connect one room to another. It is also a cost-effective solution for live sound engineers to implement return or cross snake connections. The modular catapult is available in six configurations with three input and three output modules. Each input module contains four XLR-F inputs, four XLR-M outputs and two Neutrik Ethercon™ outputs. Each output module has one Ethercon input, one throughput and two sets of four XLR-M outputs. Modules can be ordered without transformers for sub-networks or to transmit AES digital signals; with microinsulation transformers to provide split outputs for FOH, monitors or a recording system; or with line level isolation transformers to eliminate system noise. Ground lift switches are provided at each end of the Ethernet cable connection to prevent humming and humming due to ground loops.
This Radial Catapult TX4M version represents a transmit module with four XLR inputs and four isolated XLR-M mic levels (-40 to 0 dB) outs.
