The Digiface Ravenna audio interface is based on the popular Digiface Dante and is equipped with a Ravenna module developed by DirectOut. The USB 3.0 device also combines everything RME is famous for: MADI, TotalMix FX and outstanding options in both USB and standalone operation. The two BNC connectors for word clock I/O to MADI I/O have been designed by RME to be switchable, for up to 64 channels. The total sum of Ravenna and MADI - 128 channels - is transferred via USB 3.0 and managed via the included Ravenna web server or RME's TotalMix FX. This gives you full and easy control over all audio signals.
On the network side, the device has a fully-fledged Ravenna stack with AES67 and ST2110-30/31 support as well as redundant audio-over-IP streaming in accordance with ST2022-7. Furthermore, the Digiface can also be used as a mobile 64-channel Ravenna/MADI converter without a USB connection to a computer. The coaxial MADI connections can also be configured as word clock sync I/O.
Like all current RME interfaces, the Digiface Ravenna comes with the powerful, digital real-time mixer TotalMix FX. This allows you to perform any mixing and routing operations with all inputs and playback tracks on any hardware outputs. The versatile functions include talkback, main/phones, fader groups, mute groups, complete remote control via Mackie and OSC protocol and much more!
TotalMix Remote extends the power of RME interfaces by enabling remote control via iOS, PC or Mac.
