RCF HD 10-A MK5

The RCF HD 10-A MK5 is a 2-way active speaker that is the optimal choice for live sound and fixed installations thanks to a professional 10-inch high-performance woofer and a 1-inch high-frequency driver, a 2-channel Class D power amplifier with 800 watts of power and innovative FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control signal processing. With this active speaker, vocals remain natural, the sound is transparent even at greater distances, and the sound pressure is stable at very high levels.

Designed with decades of experience building equipment for the touring industry, the HD Series cabinets offer the performance and reliability expected from a speaker for demanding mobile use. The elegantly designed, lightweight polypropylene enclosure with internal reinforcement provides maximum ruggedness. furthermore, the speaker cabinet is equipped with a steel high stand flange, threaded inserts for rigging and rubber handles. The D-LINE offers DJs and musicians professional sound for an optimal music experience.

The 10-inch woofer's highly linear frequency response delivers precise, controlled low-frequency reproduction. Powerful Class-D power amplifier

RCF's Class-D power amplifier technology combines large power reserves with high efficiency and low weight. D-Line power amplifiers are characterised by extremely fast response, realistic transient reproduction and an impressive sound image. The rugged aluminum enclosure design protects the power amp during transport while supporting fanless heat dissipation. All D-Line power amplifiers feature switching power supplies for minimal Gewicht and maximum power.

Connections

The RCF HD 10-A MK5 offers maximum flexibility with one 3-pin XLR input and output each, as well as a jack input. The switchable EQ mode allows you to choose between two different presets: - "Boost" with a slight low-frequency boost for music reproduction and low volume applications; - "Flat" for using the speaker for live sound reinforcement. The power amp has an integrated limiter circuit that prevents clipping or overdriving of the transducers.

A convenient Mic/Line switch makes it easy to adjust input sensitivity. For voice applications, a microphone can be connected directly to the speaker using the "Mic" setting. For playback or live music output, the switch should be in the "Line" position.

An easily accessible volume control on the rear panel allows the volume of the speaker to be adjusted to suit the application.

Ideal for rental

The enclosure of the active speaker is molded from special polypropylene and designed to effectively dampen vibrations even at maximum volume. The cabinet shape makes it easy to use the speaker as a stage monitor. From the cabinet shape to the surface structure, the D-LINE offers maximum reliability and robustness for touring use. The bass reflex port has been adjusted to increase efficiency. In addition to the carrying handle on the top, the HD 10-A MK5 has a rubber-cushioned handle on the side for comfortable transport.

In addition, it is equipped with a robust steel high stand flange in the bottom of the housing. Thanks to the new enclosure design, all D-LINE models can be used free-standing, on a high stand or as a stage monitor. Two M10 threaded inserts and optional mounting accessories are available for permanent installations.
